Churmell Mitchell is first and foremost, a loving father to two beautiful children, Prince and Princess.

Through hard work and dedication, Churmell has become a distinguished leader and advocate with a multifaceted portfolio encompassing educational leadership, community development, media production, and personal coaching. Earning his Bachelor of Science in Physical Activity and Health from Auburn University in 2016, Churmell also pursued advanced studies in Pastoral Leadership and Theology at Highlands College, emphasizing his dedication to both community support and spiritual leadership. 

As the Executive Director of the Alabama Head Start Association since August 2023, Churmell champions early childhood education across Alabama, optimizing resources for children from birth to age five. He represents Alabama in both The Office of Head Start and the National Head Start Association, ensuring programs align with regulatory standards and serve the community effectively. 

Appointed by Governor Kay Ivey in January 2024, Churmell serves on the CTF District 3 Board, advocating for educational and workforce opportunities throughout Alabama. He is also a Young Alumni Board Member at Auburn University, enhancing educational frameworks at his alma mater.

In the realm of media, Churmell leads Churmell Mitchell Productions, creating content for high-profile clients, including celebrities and major organizations. His work with Asher from season 25 of NBC's "The Voice," alongside engagements with public figures like Cynthia Bailey from "Real Housewives of Atlanta," has been featured on national television and in publications such as the New York Times Magazine. 

Churmell is also the founder and Executive Director of "A Father's Voice Matters," where he drives support initiatives for fathers, providing resources to strengthen family dynamics. His innovative game, "Emotions You Know," promotes emotional intelligence and has been implemented in various educational and corporate settings. 

Beyond his leadership and media roles, Churmell is deeply involved in the physical fitness and personal coaching sector. He applies his expertise in kinesiology to train athletes and individuals, helping them achieve their professional sports ambitions and weight loss goals. His approach combines rigorous physical training with nutritional guidance to optimize performance and health outcomes.

Churmell is also a life coach to a wide range of clients, including athletes, celebrities, and entrepreneurs. He guides them towards achieving their professional and personal aspirations, leveraging his insights and motivational skills to help them navigate challenges and succeed in their respective fields. 

Churmell’s recognitions include a Lifetime Achievement Award from the President of the United States and the Auburn University 2024 Black Alumni of the Year Award. His career reflects a profound commitment to enhancing lives through education, leadership, community engagement, and personal development, making him a pivotal figure in fostering positive change both locally and globally.
